On the July AS Training call, David Farr revealed the power of tooltips!
You may not have heard of a ‘tooltip” before but I’m sure you’ve seen them on the web in action when filling out forms. Tooltips are little pop up message that only display when hovered over or clicked on. This allows you to add further clarification to the questions you ask on your web form without cluttering up the overall look of your form.
See this animated example below. You’ll notice when your visitor goes to put their mouse in the input box, the tooltip with additional information is shown!
