Step 2. Extract or “unzip” the files. If you’re on Mac, they should automatically unzip
Step 3. Open the “master.php” file with your favorite text editor like Notepad (which comes on every Windows PC).
Step 4. Add your main website where it says as shown in this screenshot. Replace where it says, “YOURFIRSSITE” with your website. You can also add up to two additional websites but just leave those alone if you only have one website you’re looking to do this on.
Step 5. Save the “master.php” file and close your editor.
Step 6. Now upload the whole “newAS” folder to your root directory (that means not in any other folders). If you do or if you change the names of the folders or files, you’ll then need to adjust the hyperlink you include in your autoresponder. So, for beginners, please DO NOT CHANGE THE NAMES OF THE FILES OR FOLDERS either before or after yo upload them to your hosting account (unless you know what you’re doing).
Step 7. Next, open up the file called, “sample hyperlinks for autoresponder”. In here you’ll see two sample links. The first one you’ll use in your autoresponder message as it has the 1shop merge codes imbedded. The second link you should use to first test the configuration of everything. Update the beginning with your website and copy and paste that into your browser. If you see the example page filling in George West’s name and email then you’re golden!
Step 8. Put the hyperlink in the message of the autoresponder you’re setting this up for. When a person receives this autoresponder from you, they’ll click the link and see their info merged into the page.
