I love elephants. In fact, in my “100 Days of Gratitude” project, Day Number 46 was about how much I love elephants.

That being said… He did nothing illegal or immoral. Elephants are in abundance in that part of the world. Food is not in abundance in that part of the world. The elephants were trampling crops that fed the people and the elephant was also butchered for its meat – further feeding people.
While sport was certainly involved (if you can call it sport) I would only be completely outraged if the elephant was killed only as a trophy or for its ivory. I would never choose personally to kill an elephant – and I won’t even buy products, such as boots, made from elephants, but each person is free to do what they choose to do within the law.
Of course, that’s just my opinion and you are certainly all welcome to your opinion. I won’t be moving any of my websites or doing any knee jerk reactions.
Yeah C.J., he would have to kill a lot more elephants for me to consider moving. I have so many domains, email accounts, and hosting accounts with them, I would have to be really, really mad to leave them. I’m sure I’m a customer for life… no matter what Bob Parsons kills.
He killed an elephant. So!? How many people do you know that hunt deer or fish? It’s the same thing. Elephants are in abundance and are the game of choice. It was used for food. That’s part of the fun of the hunt.
Now if I found he was a pedophile, or something along those lines and started promoting that, then I would have a problem. But hunting and eating, no problem here.
